Information about the logistics and policies for our workshops

Continuing Education

  • Participants MUST attend 100% of the program to earn the CEUs approved for LICSW, LMFT, LP, LADC, and LPCC.

  • Workshop Test questions for LGSW attendees will be made available upon request.

  • CEU certificates will be given at the end of the event after you are have completed the evaluation form.  

  • Attendance will be monitored with sign-in/sign-out sheets, in accordance with licensing board standards.  

  • Our day long workshops qualify for 6 CEU’s per day. CEU approvals are arranged through the individual licensing boards in the state of MN.

Registration/Payment

  • Course enrollment limits will be announced accordingly.

  • If you desire to pay by check, please contact the MN Trauma Project team at workshops@mntraumaproject.org

  • An email acknowledgment will be sent from the MN Trauma Project site to confirm receipt of your registration. An email will be sent the week of the workshop with details about the event.

Cancellations/Refunds

  • 15 days or more before the workshop:  Full Refund

  • 7 to 15 days before the workshop:  50% Refund or transfer of registration to future workshop within one year. 

  • Less than 7 days before the workshop:  No refunds will be granted, but in the case of medical emergency (family or participant), participants will be allowed to roll over their registration fee to another MNTP workshop within one year.

  • Day of Workshop:  No refunds will be granted for day of cancellations or no shows.

  • Please note that in cases of payment via check that any requests for refunds will incur a $25 check processing fee.  

  • Workshops may be cancelled by MNTP if minimum enrollment requirements are not met. In this case, full fees will be refunded.

Schedule/Workshop Logistics

  • Workshop registration begins at 8:30 am. The teaching day is from 9 am to 5 pm.

  • There will be two 15 minute breaks, one mid-morning and the other mid-afternoon.

  • Lunch breaks will last for 90 minutes in order to provide a leisurely break experience and to allow time for unrushed conversation and discussion.

  • Breakfast and afternoon snacks will be provided for day long workshops. Participants may bring their lunch or visit local restaurants during the midday break.

  • If you require special accommodations, please contact the venue or email workshops@mntraumaproject.org. We have taken every effort to ensure ADA accessibility at the venues utilized for the workshops, please contact us at workshops@mntraumaproject.org if you have specific concerns.
